Havala uses a global chemical transport model, GEOS-Chem, to simulate
aerosol levels for the present day and future. Her works has focused
on updating the aerosol routines and looking at the effect of changes
in climate and emissions on future sulfate-nitrate-ammonium levels.
Currently, she is focused on ways to better represent organic aerosols.
