Ph.D, summa cum laude, biogeochemistry, Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, 2011

M.S., earth science, the University of Tokyo, 2008

B.S., chemistry, the University of Tokyo, 2006

Research Interests

My general interests are properties and effects of organic aerosols on atmospheric chemistry and human health. I conduct kinetic modeling of evolution and growth of secondary organic aerosol, especially focusing on the effects of phase state (liquid vs. semi-solid vs. solid) and chemical reactions in gas and condensed phase.
