Research Overview :

Dwindling fossil fuel resources has led us to focus our attention on biomass as a reliable feedstock for the production of biofuels and fine chemicals. My research deals with the synthesis of heterogeneous catalysts to obtain these goals. Rational design of these, together with new synthetic routes for the production of the mentioned chemicals, will be the main objectives of my research.
