CH 143: Basic FT NMR
Spectroscopy (Winter, 2009)
Course: 9 units (3-2-4); Winter term.
Prerequisite: CH 41 abc. Will cover NMR basics and applications, with
emphasis on mordern pulsed FT NMR and the principles of multipulse NMR
techniques used in structural analysis. A number of NMR techniques will
be illustrated with Chapman-Russel FT NMR problems video-disc-based
computer program. The practical use of
NMR will be further demonstrated by laboratory experiences using
spectrometers in both liquid and solid state NMR facilities.
